Why MAZDA Is Championing Youth Coaches
Launched with TeamSnap on Sept. 16, 2026, Coaches Who Move Us celebrates the leaders who keep youth sports joyful. That mission has never mattered more: a 2026 Aspen Institute survey found that the average child quits organized sports by age 13, often because pressure drains the fun. Mazda North America CEO Tom Donnelly noted that great coaches make their mark through genuine care rather than wins. Mazda believes meaningful experiences are built around people, and that care helps coaches build lasting confidence and character in the children they mentor.
A New MAZDA CX-90 For Five Standout Coaches
Through a partnership with Good Morning America, Mazda will honor five exceptional coaches from across the country, each with a brand-new Mazda CX-90. The three-row SUV can make every trip to practice more rewarding. Families can nominate a deserving coach through October 18.
Support That Reaches Every Sideline
The initiative extends beyond the five vehicle recipients to support coaches in communities nationwide. Coaches can register for a vehicle incentive when they purchase a new Mazda at their local dealership, and Mazda will match each purchase with a donation for team needs and coaching costs.
